the Kobb Cave

Finally scanned some doodles from a couple months ago, inspired by a forum RP thread that sadly died right as things were about to get good. Krax and a couple other krogan (one of them nearly old enough to remember the salarian uplift) get trapped in the ruins of an old hangar/bunker during a massive sandstorm on Tuchanka. Tensions immediately flared, especially since Krax’s armor betrays him as Imperial (the forum timeline saw the formation of a fledgling Krogan Empire, which not all clans support)…

Also it seems to me that krogan of both genders would be unable to see the insult in the human phrase “thunder thighs,” because frankly that sounds pretty awesome to them. :v

My sister and I played a round of ME3 multiplayer as a brogan duo, and now my brain is made out of krogan again.

Krax needed an armor redesign anyway. u_u

Detail from a commission I recently finished, for another Mass Effect RP buddy.

When ME3 came out, the RP forum I’m on had too much in conflict between RP history and the canon version of events to simply combine them the way that they’d been able to do with ME2. So we played out our own version of the Reaper War, pulling in canon elements (Kalros, etc) whenever possible.

This image shows is from the postwar rebuilding stage that is about to begin. In it, Ravanor Xarak, Imperial Warmaster of the Krogan Empire, tells some adorable turian children stories from the war. Behind him (and visible in the full image) is a statue erected in Cipitrine, in honor of the krogan who came to Palaven’s aid.

Tried a new process for this one - going B/W first and then adding color. While I think it’s an okay first attempt, I’m looking forward to getting better at it X)

Finished this week’s BWD page ahead of schedule, so last night I played around with inks to celebrate :D
