Finally scanned some doodles from a couple months ago, inspired by a forum RP thread that sadly died right as things were about to get good. Krax and a couple other krogan (one of them nearly old enough to remember the salarian uplift) get trapped in the ruins of an old hangar/bunker during a massive sandstorm on Tuchanka. Tensions immediately flared, especially since Krax’s armor betrays him as Imperial (the forum timeline saw the formation of a fledgling Krogan Empire, which not all clans support)…

This lady’s been in my head for a little bit - finally decided to try drawing her (lady krogan wat do)
Also it seems to me that krogan of both genders would be unable to see the insult in the human phrase “thunder thighs,” because frankly that sounds pretty awesome to them. :v

My sister and I played a round of ME3 multiplayer as a brogan duo, and now my brain is made out of krogan again.
Krax needed an armor redesign anyway. u_u

Well, this was not what I set out to draw tonight. Oh well, t’was fun. I’ve been wanting to draw a Monster’s Garden fanart for a while, anyway.

Aah, I finally got around to timing out these boards…from 2011, ack. Might as well toss ‘em up here.

sketch time!
I was doodling aimlessly yesterday afternoon, and this character popped out. She’s a cat mutant, drawn with the TMNT 2012 universe in mind. Very stealthy, quick, and nearly black - she barely shows up even in the shadows. I imagine some cool shots where the Turtles are doing their thing in the foreground, and suddenly you see her eyes reflecting light from a dark alley behind them…
I have half a mind to play with this more, maybe emulate the inky style from the official character concept artwork we’ve seen. Time will tell.

Some concepts from my backburner’d griffin story, Refugee. Given that the plot involves a griffin society in its stone age (with an individual trying out smelting at one point) I wondered if using pure four-legged griffins might look a little odd handling tools. This was a test to see if I could inject the slightest flavor of bipedalism, to make them feel “primitive” without going too anthropomorphic.
It’s hard! Most of these are too “critter,” with a couple that are too “anthro.” The guy second from the top left was the first one I drew, and remained my favorite throughout. Still not sure what to think of the experiment or its results, but I’m glad I did it?

My other TMNT design just went up on Threadless, so here’s a post with both designs and links, just as another signal boost.
There are 14 days left in scoring, so still plenty of time. I’ll probably post just one more reminder at the end, so don’t worry about me spamming y’all too much about this. c:
Thanks a ton to all y’all who have voted already! Be sure to check out the other designs in the running if you’re interested in TMNT and have the chance! There are a few gems in there!

(recommended: view on youtube - dialog is in text and kinda small)
So here’s that thing I’ve been picking at on the side for far too long now! I started it before TMNT 2012 premiered and didn’t initially intend for it to fall within that universe at first (hence the different lair layout) but over time I gave in and let Mikey warp into his 2012 self. X)
It’s messy and I really want to go in and fix a thousand things (probably will!), but I figure the tumbles might enjoy this first pass regardless. :3
